Newborn photos are so important to have you do not realize how much your baby changes in just a few short weeks. Newborns change daily and with everything you have just gone through they will seem to fly by making it hard to remember all those sweet details that will change in the blink of an eye. Capturing your newborn's photos within the first 14 days is important so that we are able to capture those sweet curled up sleepy images. Booking these photos before your little one is here is important in securing your spot and not having to rush around trying to get in with a photographer last minute.
When is the best time to book my newborn's session?
The best time is to book before baby arrives, this ensures the photographer you want to work with has penciled you in and can get baby in with in the first 2 weeks. However, if you have already had baby and haven't booked your session don't worry, please contact me and I will see if we can get you fit in.
When is the best time to photography baby?
The best time is between 7-14 days. I like to wait until at least day 7 or 8 because then if you are breast feeding your milk would have come in and babe most likely would have cluster fed around 5 or 6 days old.
Where do you photograph Newborns?
I offer both in home and in studio sessions. So depending on what you are more comfortable with and the style of your session you can choose what location works best for you.
Do you provide props?
Yes, I have wraps, baskets, headbands, bonnets, and more. If you would like something specific for your session you can definitely bring it.
Can my other children be photographed with baby?
Most definitely. I include sibling photos in both my newborn packages. You can see the package options here!
